About Me


I got married in 2004 to my wonderful husband.

We became an instant family two months later when his daughter (my stepdaughter) Alexis came to live permanently with us. She is now turning 11.

In Dec. of 2005, my first son Sage was born.

In April of 2008, my second son Collin was born.

During all this time, we were living in Los Angeles, CA. In Aug. of 2008, we made a big move to Tulsa area, OK.

I definitely miss California "winters"!!!!

Though I'm TOTALLY digging the lower price of living in Oklahoma, my beginning education in frugality came from being part of a young family in expensive Los Angeles. It was interesting keeping everyone fed, clothed and expenses paid up while living in such a pricey city.

Thus, it took some creativity. My love for frugal living was born. Every family should be able to enjoy each other no matter what the income. Frugality is king in my book
